Waimea Trails and Greenways
MEETING NOTES
March 20, 2006
PRESENT: Clem Lam, Jim Lutter, Tommy Sing, Avi Okin, Laura Dierenfield
- Lalamilo Research Station: Kaz gave Clem an updated map of the trail in this area which shows the trail on the south side of the stream on the east end.
- Magoon, County, Catholic Church quitclaim deed - Clem talked to Alan Okamoto last week to find out what is happening with this process. He received an email from Diane Noda of Corp Counsel's office. No one knows where the signed deeds are - Alan sent them to the County and to Title Guaranty on August 31, 2005 with instructions for her review and forwarding to the Mayor for his signature. Somewhere along the way someone dropped the ball. I asked Alan if he would follow up on where and who should be getting these documents and get them to move forward.
- The Lodge - Kaz needs to talk to managing company.
- Meeting with the Board of Parker School Trust to discuss the trail - Kaz are you setting up that meeting? When is it?
- Kaz met with Clem at the Baptist Church at Church row to discuss the trail crossing the stream from State land onto Parker Ranch property and avoiding a landowner between Keck and the Baptist Church - the committee thinks that is a great idea so Kaz can move forward with that.
- Next week is Kuhio Day so we will not meet.
- Lavaman triathlon - Jim set up a schedule and we will do our hours.
- Next meeting is April 3 Monday and we will meet at the Church row end of the Baptist Church and look at the alignment Kaz was talking about.
